What Is Excel V+?

The adjustable spot size allows for the most precise and targeted treatment possible, whether you’re treating deep or superficial problems. The cooling technology included with Excel V+ laser treatments delivers soothing relief throughout each session, ensuring effective results and optimal comfort.

What To Expect with Excel V+ Treatment

Excel V+ laser treatments are unique in the fact that they enhance patients’ safety and comfort, allowing your mind to be at ease before, during, and after each session. After you have had a consultation with a skincare expert at CDAM to discuss your aesthetic concerns and desires, you will attend your first Excel V+ laser treatment. Your treatment session may last as little as 15 minutes up to 45 minutes depending on the treatment area. The handpiece best suited to treating your skin condition is attached to the system and then your provider will gently run the handpiece over the treatment area. A proprietary cooling system is utilized during and after each laser zap to minimize heat or discomfort.

This treatment is highly adjustable and can be customized to best suit your skin condition, type, and sensitivity making it a highly personalized way to address various conditions.

Depending on the severity of your skin condition you may need multiple Excel V+ treatments to achieve optimal results. On average 2-3 sessions will be needed for results to be seen. Results are long-lasting but not permanent.

There is no downtime after Excel V+ treatments and you should be able to resume your normal daily activities right after treatment. Some patients may experience mild swelling and redness that should go away after a day or two. In some cases, slight scabbing can occur.
