Carolyn is a dedicated medical assistant with over 10 years of experience in the medical field, she has spent the past 5 years specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Prior to her current role, Carolyn worked in plastic surgery with DuPage Medical Group. Born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, Carolyn is a licensed esthetician, having graduated from Pivot Point International Academy, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from DePaul University. Additionally, Carolyn is dermatology tech certified, Her extensive background in the medical field allows her to provide knowledgeable and compassionate care to patients and support physicians in delivering high-quality dermatological treatments.

My experience at CDAM was very pleasant. Dr. Cavanaugh and his staff were warm and inviting. He explained the procedure thoroughly and was very gentle, making sure I was comfortable at all times. The medical assistant was nice and explained all the aftercare instructions in detail. My follow up appointment was seamless and efficient as well. I will be returning to CDAM in the future for more aesthetic procedures!
